About Shrai
Shrai Popat is a multimedia journalist based in Washington DC. He is currently the White House producer at PBS News, where he reports, produces and scripts a mixture of news features and day-of news segments. He is a graduate of Columbia Journalism School and King’s College London, where he studied English and Comparative Literature.
Prior to joining PBS, Shrai was a producer at VICE News and BBC News. Here he made documentaries and long-form packages.
